If in fact rumored reports of Mariah Carey tying the knot with semi-funnyman Nick Cannon are true then she’s really trying a little hard to stay “in” with the young crowd don’t you think. Nick is 11 years younger & Mariah was almost hitting puberty when Nick was a twinkle in his father’s eyes.
Evidently they had been going out for several weeks prior to the secret Wedding ceremony in the Bahamas where Carey has a vacation spot. Well, a few weeks, that makes perfect sense as to why they are getting hitched. Today on The Oprah show, Drew Barrymore made a HUGE announcement regarding her alliance and donation to the World Food Programme (WFP). 1 million bills if you can believe it! That is such a great thing she is doing providing help and funds to help feed hungry children around the world. You can tell that this cause means so much to Drew and she has become a big humanitarian although this seems to be her biggest cause right now that she’s behind. The WFP is now calling Drew the WFP Ambassador Against Hunger.

Not that she was mistaken for being sane before last night but take a listen at Paula Abdul’s comments regarding David Archuleta’s performance. Does anyone really get what she’s trying to say? Maybe, but she sounds like a raving lunatic that is ready to chop him up into little pieces and add him to her sick collection or something. Please Paula, try and articulate something more than mauling some little guy and hanging him up from your rear view mirror. For a second there I thought I was watching the movie Misery or something.
